Yes, the JAMB Mock Exam for the 2017 UTME has been confirmed to hold on
29th April, just like your Mock e-Slip has already stated.
If you have been selected by JAMB to write this year's UTME Mock Exam,
please take it seriously, and don't forget that other JAMB candidates
who were not selected will be depending on you for updates, and detailed
analysis and description of how the CBT format really looks like. You
can't let us down! If you would still like to check if JAMB has selected
you to write the Mock Exam,
The Joint Admission Matriculation Board [JAMB] has began dispatching the
new exam center, date and time for the 2017 UTME Mock Test scheduled to
now hold on April 29th, 2017. Messages are now being sent via SMS and
Mail.
Many students who received text from JAMB, Confirmed this information,
although they were told to simply check their JAMB Profile or Mail to
view or download their Mock Test Schedule.
Some Myschoolers have also confirmed this information, stating that the 2017 UTME Mock Exam will hold on 29th April.
You are hereby requested to reprint your Mock Exam Slip (e-Slip) to confirm your exam centre, date and time.
Before your mock exam on 29th April, please be prepared for anything and
take this like it's the actual exam. This will help you take the real
exam with ease. Ensure you take breakfast, and arrive your centre early.
Hopefully JAMB has sorted out all issues and would start early this
time around.
The first thing to note when you get to your centre is that the 2017
JAMB UTME Mock Exam is absolutely FREE! You don't need to pay any money
to any CBT Centre for anything.
Please take note of everything that is happening, knowing that Myschool
and other JAMB candidates not writing the Mock will depend on your
reports from the centre.
We will create a LIVE UPDATES thread on that day, so you can let us know
anything that is happening before the Mock exam begins or if there are
any delays in the process
While in the hall, please take note of everything;
1. Check if there are actually CCTV Cameras
2. Check if the systems are special in anyway (maybe if there's no mouse)
3. When you login to take an exam, check how the CBT environment is laid out.
4. Where is the time Located, Where are your Subject Navigation Located, Where are the Question Numbers Located, e.t.c.
5. Check if you can use both Keyboard and Mouse (Remember JAMB said you can now use only Keyboard).
6. Check the time given for the exam
7. Check the number of questions given.
8. Remember that JAMB said typing "S" on the keyboard means you want to submit. Be careful!
You can complete the above list, if you have any points you want to add. Use the comment section for that.
So be "SHARP" as a mock candidate. You can continue practising, so you
can do well in the exam, just in case JAMB sends you a dummy result, you
will be able to do well in the result.
Ensure you keep your items safe! Your phones, bags, money e.t.c. Please
note that not everyone, who comes to the hall came for the exam. Some
people are just natural thieves. They steal at every opportunity.
